Sauvie Island Harvest Festival August 31 – September 2
Kick off the season with a visit to the Pumpkin Patch on Sauvie Island. The grand opening of the corn maze, hayrides, live music, fresh produce and other fun fall events starts during this holiday weekend.
Bandon’s 67th Annual Cranberry Festival – September 13-14
Join the 15,000-20,000 annual visitors and enjoy the cranberry eating contests, live music, home-made pastries, quilt show, parade and petting zoo.
Vineyard Tour Bike Ride, Roseburg – September 21
Pick your distance (15-100 miles) and bike from vineyard to vineyard along the scenic Umpqua River.
Feast Food Festival – September 20-25
Feast Food Festival showcases creations from nationally recognized chefs along with our local, Pacific Northwest ingredients. This is a fabulous way to enjoy the food from top restaurants, take cooking classes from knowledgeable chefs, and revel in all things delicious.
October – Drive along the Historic Columbia River Highway and soak in views of the gorge. With the trees likely to change in early October, this is the perfect time to revisit this area and take a hike or spend the day in Hood River and get a bite to eat.
The Hood River County Fruit Loop houses a variety of seasonal events during the month of October, including U-Pick apple and pears, a themed corn maze, u-pick pumpkins, and an Oktoberfest with fresh cider.
